What can I use to give black wood furniture a waxy haze look?

I am about to refinish some of my old living room furniture to a black paint color. I was need instructions or any advice on how to give it that waxy hazy type look you see in pottery barn or other home stores. I have tried searching the internet but have come up empty.Please help!

I’ve used a coat of satin wipe on poly over the black paint.
