The recent controlled-burning of an old building north of the C.P.R., that sent dense black clouds of smoke up into the blue sky, was reported to be an old COAL SHED. This coincided with finding my old 1958 Christmas newsletter that stated that I had spent time rebuilding my COAL CHUTE. Coal — chute — what’s that all about anyway?
