How do I stop my Beagle from chewing wood?

I have a four year old female Beagle. She’s generally a well behaved dog, and I adopted her nearly three years ago.

Try “Bitter Apple” in the gel form and smear it on the furniture and wood. She will hate the taste and leave your stuff alone! You can purchase it at most pet stores.

Sometimes you may have to do some real detective work to figure out why a new behavior starts in a dog at a later age. But solving the problem is more important at this point! Good luck!
