im 14 years old and recently im shooting mid to high 80s (last two times i played i shot an 85). is that good?
i played first when i was 8 years old, but i didn’t start playing frequently until i was 12 years old. since last year i have taken about 10 lessons. here is about how far an average shot would travel by club
driver-200-215 yds 5 wood 185 off tee, 175 from fairway hybrid 160
4 iron 150 5 iron 140 6 iron 135 7 iron 120 8 iron 120 9 iron 110 pitching wedge 100 sand wedge 75
thats a little too good for those distances, im 14 and i hit my driver 280, 4 wood 220, and then 200 for my 3 hybrid and 10-15 yard increments down from there with my pw going 120 and i shoot low 80s high 70s regularly, i think you might be taking some mulligans, make sure you are honest with yourself, thats what this great game is all about
