Orange Paint?
I am preparing to do sort-of-weekend warrior project on my home office this weekend.
Anyways, I want to paint the room a light-to-medium orange color (an orange that is not too bold, but is not too plain either), but am have the most difficult time trying to figure out what color curtains to get.
My bookcases are black wood, and my soon to be desk, will be black wood. The trim in the room is an off-white (it’s an older home). The room is fairly small, and also serves as a walk through room to another bedroom. I also don’t want to close the room in with too many dark colors.
Any suggestions on what color curtains I should get?
Paint one wall the dark orange and the rest of the 3 walls either a lighter orange or a complimentary color. Place your desk on the dark wall and put up studio type pictures – meaning black metal frame with 4″ to 5″ matting. Put color or black and white photos on that matt. The white will tone down the color a bit. Good luck and have fun decorating!
